The Monday Blues

DonҀt you hate it? You just enjoyed a great Friday night out with friends and now this.

Saturday flew by because you knew you only had one more day before ӀITԀ was here.
Sunday on the other hand truly was relaxing.  You got to watch the football game and maybe caught the second episode of ӀThe Walking DeadԀ (great show by the way).

According to statistics, Monday is the favored day for self-destruction. (Well that was harsh)
DONҀT BREAK DOWN!!  Monday isnҀt amongst the most favored day, but it can turn into a building block for the rest of your week.

I know I am not the only one who hates Mondays.  Believe it or not Monday can prove to be a very productive day.  If you are going back to school, work, or both, Monday can feel like a drag.  Here are a few remedies to clear that Monday cough,
  •          Go to bed early- As much as you want to enjoy the remainder of your Sunday, it is time to think about what lies ahead.  If you go to bed early youҀll wake up with a better attitude, and you might avoid walking around with this face
  •          Positivity People- Remember that there is only one Monday in a week.  The more aggravated you get, the longer youҀll make the day feel.  A professor once told me that the reason she was always smiling was because she knew that if she came into an 8 oҀclock class with a ӀScroogeԀ attitude, she would mess the day up for all of us.  Smart theory huh?
  •         You Time- Break time should be your getaway.  I do it all the time.  Once you go for lunch, loosen the grip your job has on you and focus on something else.  Yes this time is short compared to the rest of the day, but you can restart your brain by thinking of other things.  Listen to music, catch up with a coworker, or random search Google.  The point is to let your mind go.
If you try one of these things I guarantee your Monday will be that much closer to stress free.
Here's a website to get your mind off of things.
