Can this be the College Life?

I decided that this post will talk about some misconceptions of the college life.  It becomes very easy to fall into a confused state of mind when thinking about what your future holds.  The weeks before starting college can drive you crazy but relax, let's break down some of the misconceptions about the college life.

Every class is extremely difficult

WRONG! College does require that students apply themselves, but this does not mean that you will be going crazy with every course you take.  This is a whole new chapter in your life so you should be ready to face some tough courses.  The truth is that some classes are actually fun and relatively easy.  You should always keep in mind that your area of study dictates what type of classes you will be taking.  If you want to be an accountant, get ready to battle those assets and liabilities!  If you are majoring in Justice Studies, you may take a course that involves recognizing different types of fingerprints. Every course is different so DONҀT get scared when choosing your courses.

Social life and good grades are impossible to obtain

WRONG! On one of my last posts I mentioned that when you are in college you can only have two out of the following three: good grades, a social life, and enough sleep.  As true as this may be I feel that partying is no excuse for bad grades.  College is a stepping stone to your future.  Any education after high school is designed to prepare you for the rest of your life (career wise).  College builds character and responsibility.  If you decide to go out and drink your life away, your grades will surely represent that.  The alternative to this is to go out occasionally and get your school work done on time.

This is a short video that I found about certain college life misconceptions, Enjoy!
