Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) is an autonomous educational institution established by the Government of Kerala in 1987. The institute is registered under The Travancore ր Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable societies registrations Act 12 of 1955. The Institute's Memorandum of Association and its rules and regulations have been judiciously framed with built-in growth provisions. The management of the institute is vested with a Governing Body composed of with the HonҀble Minister of Education, Kerala State, as the Chairman and Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department, Government of Kerala as the Vice-Chairman.
IHRD invited applications for admission to the 3 years diploma course in the 7 Model Polytechnics under IHRD in Kerala. The Seven model polytechnics in Kerala are at Vadakara, Kallettumkara, Mala, Mattakkara, Painavu, Kalliassery, Karunagappally and Poonjar.
The application form and prospectus can be obtained from the above polytechnics for a fee of Rs. 200 (Rs. 100 for SC/ST). Candidates can also download the application & prospectus from the link given below. For those who use the downloaded application should submit a DD of Rs. 200 (Rs.100 for SC/ST) drawn in favor of the Principal concerned polytechnic, along with the application.

Last Date of Receipt of Filled in applications : 22.05.2013 till 4pm.
