Tuition and mandatory fees will be provided plus a small stipend for books and educational expenses

Pursue any major leading to the bachelorҀs degree at any USM institution

If a student wishes to apply for multiple scholarships for which they are qualified, they need to submit individual applications for each scholarship.

Each packet must include the following documentation:
1.    Scholarship coversheet (see the attached documents for each scholarshipҀs cover sheet)
2.    Personal statement of the studentҀs educational and career goals
3.    One ӀofficialԀ copy (in a sealed envelope) and one ӀunofficialԀ copy of the community college transcript 
4.     Unofficial copies or grade slips from all other colleges and universities attended
5.    R退sum退 or listing of the studentҀs extracurricular and community activities
6.    Evidence of the studentҀs scholarly and creative activities ր limit of two items (can include copies of research papers, published material, honors, awards, etc.)
7.     One or two letters of recommendation from faculty or staff members at the community college 
8.    A copy of studentҀs 2013 ր 2014 FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR). More information about the FAFSA can be obtained at:

Please note:
1.  To find the applications, look for an e-mail about Regents in your student e-mail, or contact your campus representative (listed below) for the applications.
1.    All application information given to the MC Internal Selection Committee to be considered for the community college nomination will not be returned.
2.    Preference will be given to Maryland residents during the scholarship selection process.
3.    Students must submit the FAFSA in order to be considered for any of the Kelly Regents Scholarships.
4.    Students should review the Regents Checklist in each application document and use that list as part of their application coversheet. It also has ӀTips for SuccessԀ for each scholarship.

The internal deadline to submit Regents Scholarship Applications to a campus representative is 4:30 p.m. on April 29, 2013.
